The world’s longest work of fiction is a Super Smash Bros. fanfic titled “The Subspace Emissary’s Worlds Conquest.” Written by a Spanish-speaking college junior who wanted to improve his English, it has over 3.5 million words, which makes it twice the length of the world’s longest novel, and 6+ times longer than War and Peace.
